Panther Pink, one of the wildest colors to ever come out of an American automobile company.

1970 Dodge Challenger R/T SE

This car is owned by Jan & Ken Katarynchuk

This Challenger is a factory (FM3) Panther Pink car with the Ultra Rare (V6M) Magenta Sport Stripe. It also has the numbers matching 383 HP engine and the 4 speed trany it left the factory with. The car sold new at Chinook Chrysler, Calgary Alberta. The 3rd owner decided to paint the Challenger white after the Panther Pink paint was showing it's age in the early 80's. We had purchased the car from the 4th owners in southern Saskatchewan (Feb 2001). We have contacted all the previous owners, of which one had owned the car for 15 years, another for 11 years and now we have had the car over 7 years. (3 owners=33 years). We started taking the Challenger apart in April 2005 for a full rotisserie restoration. As of May 2008 the body work, prep & paint, engine, trany and rear axle have been rebuilt along with everything else that needed attention. This car is in the final stages of the restoration and hope to have the car completed June 2008. The last time anybody saw this Challenger in Panther Pink paint was some 26 years ago. As of January 2008 it appears to be the only Panther Pink/Magenta Stripe 383 4 speed Challenger R/T SE in Galens Chrysler Registry. More pictures to follow.
