You are bidding on a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. This car originally was a 318 3-speed car. Now it has a 4-speed. The car has a 1970 engine, but the engine and transmission are not numbers matching.
This car came from the factory FM3 Moulon Rouge(Pink) with a black vinyl roof and black interior. According to Galen only 30 1970 Barracudas(BH model) were built. Pink Cudas(BS model) were much more common.
This car has a nice pistol grip shifter, 8 3/4 rear end, bucket seats, non-rallye dash, Die hard battery, aluminum slot rims, Weiand aluminum intake, 750 Edelbrock performer carb, chrome air cleaner, and dual exhaust. New parts include a gas tank, fuel pump, fuel pickup, wiper blades, heater and radiator hoses, windshield and a new dash cap.
The fender tag reads:
V1X C55 M21 R11 Y05 EN1
FM3 H6X9 000 626 141876
E44 D13 BH23G0B395790
The oddometer reads 55950, but as with any car this age the actual mileage is unknown. Rumor has it that the only 70 pink Hemi Cuda sold for $120,000. Buy this at a fraction of that cost.
Vehicle Condition
This car runs, drives and shifts well. You could use this car as a daily driver, but it deserves to be restored. It has rust on both fenders, on the engine cowl, rear panel, trunk floor, and rust on the left rear frame rail. The car has custom fender flares on the rear. Both bumpers have dents. The carpet is faded. The door panels have speaker covers on them. The seats are out of a 71 Barracuda and need to be reupholstered. Some parts are missing for example the jack, rear valance, and front license plate holder. The grille and the head light bezels are intact but need paint.
Car is being sold as is with no warranty.
