You are bidding on a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner that originally came in Pink (Moulin Rouge) with a white interior (how rare is it, estimates are that this is one of 6 with this combination). The fender tag and build sheet confirm this. I believe there was just under 100 RR’s made in FM3. As you all may know this an extremely rare Mopar deserving a full restoration. All of the parts you see in the back seat, on the floor and in the trunk do not come with the car as they are for other projects. The 2 pictures of parts on the ground and in the plastic bucket do come with the car. The exhaust manifolds are date coded correctly. The lower radiator support is included. He does not have the front seat but the back seat is there.
Body:
We believe the body mileage to be about 115,000 miles. As you can see it will need full qtrs., trunk floor, rear frame rails, and passenger rocker panel. The engine compartment was sand blasted and painted (this was done before Sam bought the car). The trunk lid is rust free. The front fenders are rust free also. The bottoms of the original doors are clean. The car is not an original air-grabber but comes with most of the components. The numbers do match on the radiator support.
Motor:
Non-matching numbers block but date coded correctly for the year. The intake is date coded correctly too. The motor needs rebuilding. The heads have no valve train.
Transmission:
Haven’t checked but pretty sure it’s non-matching numbers. The transmission needs rebuilding.
The car is stored in an enclosed car hauler and shipping could be possible based on where you live for an additional charge. Shipping costs are sole responsibility of buyer.
