This was previously for sale on ebay and is now owned by Garrett Hoyer in Minnesota. Garrett is planning on restoring the car.
Garrett is looking for the original fender tag for his car. It was removed from the car at a salvage yard in Tulsa, Oklahoma where the previous owner bought it at auction. If anyone has information on the whereabouts of the tag, please contact me and I will pass it along.
Description of the car from when it was on ebay:
Vehicle Description
You are bidding on a 1970 2-door Plymouth Satellite 383 2 barrel column shift automatic car. This car is not a
440 Six Pack or Hemi car or Road Runner or GTX and the price reflects it. What
makes this car a very unique find is the very rare factory original color of
Panther Pink. The good news is the car is a real deal Panther Pink 383 big block
car with some good parts still on the car. The bad news is there is not a fender
tag or a build sheet and the car has more than typical Oklahoma car rust.
Although it has been in Oklahoma I believe for most of it's life. The car
originally came with a 383 big block and 727 automatic transmission, which are
not with the car. The car does still have an 8-3/4 dog leg rear end with 276 gears. The interior and
remains of the vinyl top are black, nicely complementing the high impact
factory paint color. THE CAR NEEDS TO SELL AND FIND A GOOD HOME! This car does not have a title with it. Car is sold with a bill of sale. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
Vehicle Condition
The car has been sitting for a very long time in a salvage yard reflecting
some parts being removed including the drives side quarter panel, the 383 motor, the 727 transmission,
the seats, etc, etc. Please note the pictures as far as what is missing and the condition of everything. The dash, including the dash pad and
steering column are in reasonable good condition. Dash pad has no cracks at all and is in very good shape. Front passenger side also
has wreck damage in front corner. Most of the glass is in fair condition
and I believe all the sheet metal still on car is original from the factory. The doors are in pretty good shape but the vent windows are broke out on both sides. Drivers side door still has the original door sticker on it. Build date on car is 5-70. A very rusty
not usable factory pink steel 14" wheel (not with car now) was found with the car
recently. This wheel was factory to the car and was still wearing its original acrylic enamel pink paint on it. This means this car came with 14 inch pink steel wheels with the Plymouth Division dog dish hubcaps on it. Very cool indeed in my eyes. Please look at pictures
carefully before bidding. Make the decision for yourself if this car is worth bidding on. Additional information and pictures are
available on request. Please ask any and all questions before bidding.
