Up for auction is a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. This is a project car and will need a complete restoration. It is a very rare and low production car. I was told there were only 35 or so {FM3 RT JS23NO} challengers produced. Maybe even less with all the factory options. I was also told that this car was special orderd from Chrysler by a lady from Houston TX and she and the car was used in TV comercials in the early 70'S. I have no documentation of this. Anyway its a very original car,all body #'s are matching and I do have the factory fender tag,{nom} It is wearing the factory original paint {never repainted} all body is as it left the factory. The frame rails are solid,the floors are solid. It will need a center trunk pan,extensions are good,it will need a rear sail panel,new top, trunk lid,and lower rear qt patches, the engine bay is also original paint and the cowl and firewall are all solid,the engine is a 383,but not original,there is no transmission or drive shaft. All interior is there. This car features RT hood,rallye dash,floor shift console,power disc brakes,power steering,A/C,white top,white interior and side stripes,rim-blow wheel,rear luggage rack,and lots more. I have purchased a very solid used trunk lid with rack and will be included in the sale,the original luggage rack will also come with car. Fender tag reads:
