This auction is for a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 2-door hardtop.What sets it apart from all other Darts or Valiants from this year is the original FM3 coded Panther Pink/Moulin Rouge paint.That's right, original pink with white top and black interior. Go to this site www.pantherpink.com/cars_a.htm to see what a restored one looks like. Inside the trunk,under the hood,vinyl top, and floors are all pink.Some areas look like never been touched or seen daylight. Very rare and in driver condition, this car will be the hit of your next Mopar show. People will walk past Hemi Cudas and six pack Challengers and Chargers to get a look.I would keep,but my wife thinks eight cars are enough. I bought this car, drove the 50 miles home, washed and vaccumed out,and that's it. I was going to scrub the heck out of her, but wanted you to see what condition it was in without polish and trick lighting.

It is originally equipped with Slant Six engine (not original), automatic trans, white vinyl top, black bench interior. I took lots of picks to show areas needing attention. Three small dent on trunk lid, Rust out lower area on lower passenger rear quarter. Scrape on driver's fender. Small dent on front of hood above grill.The grill shows very nice but has small cracks on top that can't be seen with hood closed, but I included pic. There is a block heater sticking through grill for those cold climates to plug car in at night. Original white vinyl top is peeling at edges.Some rust at base of front window. Crack that runs the length of the windshield. The piece of stainless from the base of the back window is included and in nice shape. Two small rust holes on driver's side floorpan. Rest of the car is very solid with only surface rust found in usual areas. CHECK OUT THE TRUNK PICS!!!!! What you see is dirt. Very little surface rust at all. Solid and pink!.

The Dart runs and drives well, but needs power steering hose replaced and carburator probably rebuilt as it lags on takeoff, but runs plenty powerfull at speed. Wipers, Trans, heater all work as should. Air needs to be rebuilt, but system is complete. The rear springs have a new helper spring added for better ride height. Under the clean hood is a newer battery, alternator, voltage regulator, and more. Engine supposedly rebuilt replacement from 6 or so years ago. Has all bumper jack pieces, spare tire cover, and possibly the original trunk floor mat in great shape with two small holes and two or three small tears. Also included, but not pictured,is the original owner's manual, and all five Dodge division Deluxe Wheel Covers. Car has clear title and tagged til 2007.
