Owner's Description:

I bought the car in 1997 for $1200. It sat for about five years while I gathered info and parts for it. The previous owner had taken some of it apart in an attempt to have it restored. It was really a parts car but because of the color I had to restore it. In early 2000 I started on it. I found a front clip for it because the front frame rails and cowl were both rusted beyond repair. Everything else is your typical repair. Floor pans, rear rails, quarters and outer wheel houses. The only history I have heard is that the car was originally owned by the NHL team The Toronto Maple Leafs and was given to a player by the name of Ron Ellis to drive. I don't know if this is true. All the body work, paint prepping and final assembly was done by me, a retired bodyman.
