This is my mom's '68 Dodge Dart. Started out as dark green, vinyl top, 7/1/4 rear, 273, all original 2bbl, 904 auto. I already have a passion for Mopars and have a '70 Duster. My Dad and I found this 1968 Dodge Dart 270 2dr and decided to restore it for my Mom. She wanted to bring a car to the shows, etc! So she fell in love with the Dart and first she wanted a bright RED color but then I showed her the Panther Pink, she fell in LOVE. I'm like OK, it's a Mopar color, so we completely restored it and eliminated the vinyl top, rebuilt the motor to stock with 318 heads, Edelbrock performer cam and intake and 4bbl carb. Added an 8 3/4 rear axle. Added disc brakes up front and aluminum slots. Added the bumble bee stripe, redid the interior in black. replaced all the rusted metal, and brought this '68 back to life!!! Restored by Jim Dickerson Jr, and Sr. Long Island, New York.
